Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) was established in 1998 by the Government of NCT of Delhi under the provisions of the GGSIPU Act, 1998. The University is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 12(B) of the UGC Act.
GGSIPU is a teaching and affiliating university with a strong focus on professional education, research, and academic excellence across emerging areas of higher education.
Accreditation & National Recognition
The University has been accredited with A++ Grade by NAAC with a CGPA of 3.56 on a seven-point scale, valid for a period of 7 years from 14 February 2023.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is a state university established in 1998 by the Government of National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi under the GGSIPU Act, 1998. The university is located in Sector-16C, Dwarka, New Delhi, and primarily serves the educational needs of the National Capital Region (NCR).
GGSIPU is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is accredited by NAAC.
